Pioneer Park Elementary HISTORY

Pioneer Park Elementary school has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School. They also participate in the Arts for Education program.

Pioneer Park Elementary located in Northeast Lawton, opened in 1970; a library/media center and six classrooms were added in 1989 at a cost of approximately $611,000.

Average student enrollment at Pioneer Park Elementary in 2005-2006 was approximately 400 students. Pioneer Park also provides an extended day program before and after school for their students.

The "Panthers" work hard daily in studies. They can also be found participating in strings and special music. The "Panthers" also have a PC computer lab where they spend part of each week.
