Mrs. Mitchell-Counselor

I have a 30 years experience as a counselor and elementary teacher. I have taught at Comanche, OK, and Yukon, OK. We moved to Duncan from Yukon to be closer to our family. My Bachelor’s Degree is from Cameron University and I have a Master’s Degree from East Central University in Ada, OK. I am a certified K-12 counselor. I am a National Board Certified Teacher since 2002. My husband retired a few years ago with over 30 years in education as a principal. I have three adult children. My youngest daughter is presently serving in the Army as a nurse and recently returned from Iraq, she is now stationed in Hawaii working at Tripler Hospital. I also have two wonderful step-children.  My husband and I attend First Baptist Church Duncan where I play the pipe organ.  My hobbies include, reading, computers, traveling and playing with my seven grandchildren!
