I was born and raised in Walters, Oklahoma. I graduated from Walters High School. I moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma where I graduated from SWOSU in 1975. I moved back to Walters and I started teaching for Lawton Public School in the Fall of ’75. I have taught for LPS since that time.
I started at John Adams & Robert E. Lee teaching Music. After 2 years I moved to Lee teaching Music / Kindergarten until Lee was closed. I then moved to Western Hills where I also taught Music/ Kindergarten. I moved to Pioneer Park after the closing of Western Hills. I teach Transitional First Grade. I still have my piano. I use my music with my T-1 students.
I enjoy watching my son play basketball. My daughter has given my husband and I a wonderful grandson to enjoy and spoil. I love visiting with my oldest granddaughter.
I like to sing and direct my church choir (UMC in Walters). I also enjoy riding 4-wheelers, going to the lake, and pulling my grandson in his wagon.
